J. Denise Fuller (JD) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) #25256.
JD graduated from Smith School for Social Work which has been recognized for its dedication to the specialization in clinical social work as well as it’s commitment to anti-racism. She prides herself on being a culturally competent clinician who has been providing treatment to adults and children for over 25 years. Her lived experience has informed her professional practice. She understands the impact of historical trauma and the importance of racial identity development.
She is experienced at conducting psychotherapy using treatment modalities based in various theoretical orientations with a diverse population of clients. She is an empathic, critical thinker who believes in the strength of the therapeutic alliance and how it can be a corrective experience for the client. She possesses the skill set to support you on your healing journey. The goal of any productive therapeutic relationship is to create a safe space that will facilitate exploring underlying issues, symptoms and patterns, to overcome fears as well as other barriers in order to tell your truth and gain insight. JD's only goal is to help you discover your authentic self.
JD provides therapeutic services that address a range of issues, including, but not limited to, trauma, anxiety, depression, sexuality, gender identity, as well as other life and relationship challenges. She has provided treatment for individuals, groups, couples and families operating in both public and private sectors.
